writer/teacher/organizer
Hello,
My name is Daniel. I grew up in Brooklyn, I live in Brooklyn, and I will hopefully die in Brooklyn. I’m non-binary, which means that I don’t exist in the traditional gender spectrum. Read my short stories, particularly “All Dreamers Pass This Way” if you want to learn more.
I write fiction and non fiction and I’ve been lucky enough to have some of it published. I’ve linked it all here. In my writing, I’m particularly interested in gender (writing is the only time I feel truly confident in my gender expression), climate change, and diasporic Jewish culture. I’m also a climate organizer and I was a lead organizer on a campaign that one the first and largest piece of Green New Deal style legislation in the US.
I am NOT the same Daniel Goulden as the fugitive currently at large in Ontario. I wish him the best.
